This film takes a look into the future and presents the vision of the SmarPort in Hamburg. In the port of the future, all available data and networks will be used to increase flexibility, stability and efficiency. The heart of all activities will be the "Port Traffic Center", or PTC for short. This is where all data converge. This leads to new processes and new professions. Machines and drones above and below water are also used and integrated into automated processes. Their data is also collected and processed at the PTC.

This means that those responsible are informed faster and more comprehensively. Problems become visible more quickly, while at the same time possible solutions become apparent.
